Visiting King Solomon A Quick Look

                                           King Solomon

As we learn about King Solomon today, let us be reminded who he was and all that he had; Money, wisdom, power, women, popular among his people, not to mention he was the wisest man in the world. This guy had it all , he experienced it all. Sexual escapades that would probably make most of us blush. And then you might ask what's the problem? He was a baller , a shot caller,  a King,, Isn't that what most of us want? To be all that , to be recognized, to have riches etc..

Yes, the thought does sound appealing . At least some of it is to me. Wisdom  and money, would probably be on the top of my list. Lets think about this, a man who has it all , has done it all, and at the end of it all , after taking stock of his life- Said he has found "No satisfaction! "[None!] that everything apart from God is empty, hollow and meaningless..

Did you know kings and leaders from other nations came to be taught by King Solomon? I just want you to keep in mind this guy Solomon had it all! Solomon wrote the book of Ecclesiastes and Songs of Songs in the bible. In Ecclesiastes he wrote this to spare future generations the heartache, pain, and loss, that comes with worthless pursuits of money, power, sinful desires. And building everything in our lives apart from God, will leave us with an empty feeling.  King Solomon had built houses, the Temple, a family and fortune. But all of this would soon be destroyed . More coming soon!
