Do You Medicate Your Mind??
How do you deal with stress? Television, Internet, drinking, tobacco, drugs, gambling, shopping, sex? It may sound crazy to you; but if your spending a great deal of time on any of these things or if your convinced this is the answer to most of your problems then your sadly missing the boat..
(Some of the things I mentioned above; does not include having a healthy sex life or having a glass of wine. etc. )
We all tend to want to escape reality in some manner; because who wants to deal with divorce , illness, loss of a loved one, job stress, failure, etc. ~ this list could go on and on ~ RIGHT?
Let me just say this first; It is understandable to let off steam and have a good time once in awhile, but when it becomes habit forming and You don't slow down to smell the roses, and deal with Your reality; You can become more self absorbed in Yourself and Your love for these unhealthy vices become first in Your life..
You leave love behind (Loved ones) While You attend to your addiction and unresolved issues in Your life. You take others down a road that is unwanted and dark..
