Today, I am going to finish up my week long blog; "I feel more connected with you" with giving you tips to help sustain your relationship long term...
First of all realize ; no relationship is perfect. I don't care what you watched in a movie ~ reality is ~ your life is not a movie or screen play. No relationship or person is perfect. We all have something going on with us physically, mentally or emotionally.
The grass is not always greener on the other side.
The next five days ~ Take the time to surprise your mate with appreciation and abundant love. Don't let him or her know that your taking this challenge, just do it! How do you do this?
Day 1: It's Friday, your both tired stay home. Get the kids taken care of and then work on relaxing and laughing like a couple of School kids. Rent a funny movie. Laughing is good for your health, soul and relationship. It will help release some of the past week tension. If you drink, have a glass of wine together. Leave your job at the office. Pour love into each other! Touch each other A LOT! Enough said...
Day 2: It's Saturday, If you have kids, spend the day with them and then make time for each other. Date night :) Go out and do whatever it is that you both enjoy. That is the key ~ something you both like! Need a suggestion? I am suggesting a walk under the stars and a great bottle of wine,cheese, prosciutto, crackers, strawberries and of course the whip cream.. And again whatever you both enjoy.
