Do you have to face a hostile audience, confront a friend on a delicate subject, or talk to your family about necessary changes to be made? Maybe you need to confront yourself? Rather than dreading difficult situations or putting them off, take action with confidence!
Confronting something or someone may be scary at first, and the road ahead may be a little rocky, the light may dispel for awhile but remember as you continue to change, the road will get less rocky and the light much brighter. I have found myself there many times throughout my life. I wanted things to change around me but somehow refused or procrastinated to do so only because I knew it would probably bring me so discomfort.
Why bring onpain and discomfort? I'll tell you why- because it's temporary and the end result is freedom from the bondage. When we don't make boundaries and confront change, we cut ourself short from enjoying the life God has given and intended us to live.
Come back tomorrow as I reveal some of the things that kept me in bondage for years.
